Stanislaus at the double in Rebels' opening-day win

Reis Stanislaus scored a brace on his competitive debut for Worthing Football Club in a 3-0 win at Hendon yesterday.

After promotion from the Ryman League South Division last season, Worthing began their Premier Division campaign in style.

Summer signings Kane Wills, Sam Rents and Stanislaus all made their competitive debuts and Rebels struck three times in a 12-minute spell to take all three points.

Stanislaus got the opener just past the hour, before Harvey Sparks continued his superb form from pre-season with the second on 66 minutes.

Stanislaus then notched his second after 73 minutes.

Rebels host Met Police in their opening home league game of the season on Tuesday (7.45pm).
