Swans impress in narrow cup defeat to Newhaven
Having beaten Bexhill 3-0 on Saturday, they only narrowly went down to Division One side Newhaven on Tuesday night to go out of the John O’Hara League Cup.
Lee Robinson’s 17th minute goal was enough for Newhaven, though Dyer said: “It was a good game to watch, both teams played good football and it could have gone either way.

Swans have slid down the Division Two table with some mixed recent results but Dyer said: “We lost heavily at Little Common with a scratch side, it was just a bad day at the office really. But we’ve played really well our last two games which is encouraging, our response has been great.”
