United boss Nigel Geary was disappointed with the way his side gave Heath three first half goals and said: “I felt their first three goals were gifts really. They are a good side and are probably playing a division-lower than the quality of player they have.

“But it’s a similar story for us of gifting teams goals. We need to stop doing this in order to turn our form around.”

The Division 1 outfit raced into a three-goal lead before the break.

Robert O’Toole opened the scoring with a strike on 17 minutes. Matthew Geard and Joshua Bryant then netted to make it 3-0 at the break.

Titus Paterson pulled a goal back on 50 minutes but the game was all over when Daniel Turner added a fourth for Heath with 18 minutes left.

UNITED: Evans; Marsh, Curnow, Philpott, Taylor; Rose, Edwards, Fleming, Joseph; Blundell, Paterson. Subs: Wotherspoon (Blundell), Gilmour (Rose), Hall (Joseph), P.Elliott, J.Elliott.
