VIDEO: Worthing United v St Francis Rangers

WORTHING United Football Club suffered a eighth successive league defeat on Saturday when St Francis Rangers left Lyons Way with all three points.

The hosts had full-back Grant Phillpott sent off midway through the first half and it was Rangers’ Aaron Walsh who opened the scoring on 38 minutes when he headed in from a free kick.

Walsh struck again on 69 minutes when he followed up a shot that the keeper saved and the Rangers striker had enough chances to have completed his hat-trick.

The result leaves United bottom of County League Division 1, with three points from their nine league games.
