Golf ace Luke is a quick learner
GOLF ace Luke Cornford finished 2nd in the Alan Toley Junior Open, despite only playing the game for three years.
The 15-year-old proved he is one of the best young players in Sussex when 40 of the most promising youngsters took part in the competition at Worthing.
Luke, who lives in Hastings and attends Claverham School, finished with a gross 77 in the under-18 competition for a fine second place.
The achievement is all the more impressive as the Cooden Beach star has only played for a short time and received very little coaching.
