INJURY-HIT MULLETS SNEAK WIN
LEE BARNARD'S double '” his second in the last minute '” gave Vic Short his first win as Arundel boss on Tuesday night.
The win was marred, however, by the fact that three Arundel players left the pitch injured. Dave Towers broke his left leg in a second-half challenge, Mike Huckett suffered a groin injury and Dave Walker clashed with Bridges' keeper, hurting his back.
Barnard's winner in the final minute came with Bridges pushing for the win. Miles Scerri and Andy Boxall worked the opportunity for Barnard to drill the ball home.
