WORTHING seafront will host a large kitesurfing event on Saturday, July 14.

The Big Air Open Kitesurfing Classic has been organised as part of the Olympic torch relay weekend and it is set to become a classic kitesurfing event well beyond the Olympic year.

Based on a “how high can you jump format”, points will be awarded for the maximum height reached and the overall champion will be taking home a cash prize, as well as the sought-after title of Big Air Open champion 2012.
