MATT AND RAY MISS OUT ON NATIONALS
NORFOLK Bowling Club's Matt Bonnar and Ray Leggett missed out on the National finals at Worthing after they lost 23-20 to Lindfield's Adam Harding and Keith Holman at Seaford. The game was close throughout, but Norfolk dropped two fours to Lindfield which eventually led to their downfall.
It is the first year Bonnar and Leggett have played together. Leggett said: "It was a close game all the way through but as soon as we got in front they got two fours in a row.
"One of them we can say we dropped but they had a bit of luck with the other one. There wasn't too much luck about but if there was any it seemed to go to them."
