Old Albanians end Raiders’ top-two hopes
WORTHING Raiders Rugby Club’s hopes of a top-two finish in National 2 South are over after a 50-24 defeat at leaders Old Albanians on Saturday (April 21).
Raiders’ touched down four tries in the match to pick up a bonus point but the hosts went over seven times as they remain four points clear at the top of the table ahead of second-placed Richmond.
Richmond won 33-12 at home to Lydney and moved nine points clear of Worthing, who will finish third.
Raiders finish their season at home to Clifton on April 28.
