Poor Pagham struggling to find their form

Pagham's miserable start to their Sussex League division three west season continued against Henfield.

Henfield were invited to bat first and seemed to be cruising to a big score when they reached 167 for four, but the bowling of Wayne Green changed the face of the game.

In 16 overs Green took six for 55 and Henfield finished all out for 185.

Rob Slaughter was the pick of the batting with a hard-hit 48.

In reply Pagham never looked like reaching the target and a regular fall of wickets saw them all out for 118.

Only Dave Galea (42) and Jake Stockdale (34) put up any sort of resilience.
