The referee awarded a penalty try, following a Alex Nielsen break, for a delibrate knock down, and Matt McLean kicked the conversion, before Ben Dudley touched down and McLean again added the extras.

That was the score when the clock hit 40 minutes but, in injury-time, Matt Alford touched down, and Gregg kicked a penalty to make it 19-11 at the break.

Terry Adams’ try and Simon Lincoln’s conversion made the score 19-18 on 53 minutes, before Raiders increased their advantage.

McLean kicked a penalty on 55 minutes, before he touched down three minutes later - for their fourth try and the bonus point - and then kicked the conversion.

A penalty from McLean on 68 minutes then made it 32-18 but Raiders had to survive a nervy ending after Adams’ try was converted by Lincoln with three minutes of injury-time left, but they held on.
