Third-from-bottom Dorking could have moved above Raiders with a win and the visitors made a bright start as they moved into a 20-0 lead.

Alex Nielsen got Raiders’ first try, before Matt McLean went over for a converted try to make the half-time score 20-12.

A penalty got Worthing to within five points, before a converted Liam Perkins score took Raiders ahead for the first time, 22-20.

An unconverted try took Raiders further ahead, before Finlay Coxon-Smith also went over to make the final score 32-20.

Dorking’s defeat means they are relegated from National 2 South with Southend Saxons and Cornish All Blacks.

Raiders complete their season at home to Clifton next Saturday.
