Rebels go down at Boreham Wood

WORTHING Football Club suffered a 3-2 defeat to mid-table Boreham Wood on Saturday in Ryman League Premier Division.

Former Worthing striker, Byron Harrison, who started the season at Woodside Road, scored a hat-trick for Boreham Wood.

Omari Coleman and Daniel Morris were on target for Rebels.

In the County League, Gavin Geddes earned Worthing United a 1-1 draw at Sidley with a 60th-minute equaliser.

In Division 2, Dan Griffin scored the only goal as Storrington won 1-0 at second-placed Westfield.

In the same division, Lancing suffered a 4-1 defeat at Seaford.
