Marchant to start for England under-20s in Wales
WORTHING Raiders Rugby Club centre Joe Marchant has been selected in the England under-20 side to face Wales on Saturday.
Marchant, who is on loan to Raiders from Harlequins, will start England’s Six Nations opener at the Parc Elrias in Colwyn Bay.
The 18-year-old has made five appearances for Raiders this season, touching down two tries and kicking one conversion.
Former Worthing talent and current London Wasps player Piers O’Conor and James Chisholm, who was on loan to Raiders from Quins last season, will also start the game for England.
