Three-week ban for Raiders’ Perkins
RAIDERS’ Liam Perkins has been given a three-week ban by the RFU after he pleaded guilty to stamping in the match with Fylde in January.
Perkins pleaded guilty as, although it was not intentional, he did make contact with a Fylde player when he went to free himself.
He had been banned by Raiders, following an internal discipline sanction, for their last two games, so the suspension has been backdated to then.
He serves the final game of his ban at Coventry on Saturday.
