Rustington march towards second record stutters for 70 minutes
BASEMENT team Bosham kept a Rustington side adjusting to a new attacking 3-5-2 formation waiting until the final 20 minutes to be sure of continuing towards achieving a calendar year without defeat.
An Andy McCarthy save at 1-0 saved the Division 3 leaders' bacon, then came a headed own goal by Bosham from a Dan Webb cross - and an Andy Smart hat-trick. Remaining 2006 fixtures for Rustington are against Bosham again, in the league, and Shoreham Reserves.
