A huge crowd of local and travelling supporters richly enjoyed the latest instalment in the Pantheon Fight Show Series - Genesis.

The event was selected as one of four feeder shows for the biggest fight show in the UK to date - Super Fight Series Championship - which will be held at Wembley Arena on May 16.

As part of that, there was a four-man £1,000 winner-takes-all professional K1 tournament at 70kg.

The winner of this tournament was Ed Kelly, from Red Dragon’s Gym in London, who won a lot of local support after showing the crowd just how good a professional fight is to watch.

Elsewhere, Elliott Hallworth, Dan Barker, Martin Eglington and Sara Hallworth all produced great performances for event hosts The Fighting Tigers Gym (FTG) and their local supporters.

A spokesman for the FTG said: “What a great night for the crowd watching pro fighters and our local fighters all on the same fight show. It was also a great experience for our fighting team, hopefully inspiring them to follow the same path and turn pro.”
