Abba Gold launches three-day extravaganza in Southwick

A THREE-day musical extravaganza in aid of The Martlets Hospice is being staged in the gardens of the Barn Theatre, Southwick, in August.

Saturday, August 25, will feature tribute band Abba Gold and audiences can enjoy The Magic of Broadway on Sunday, August 26, including songs and choruses from Broadway and West End musicals, such as Phantom of the Opera, Cats, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon and 42nd Street, plus an audience sing-along session.

Before that, there will be Sunday lunch-time jazz and a barbecue.

On Monday, August 27, there will be an evening of Opera under the Stars, including arias, duets and ensembles from popular operas, such as La Traviata, Rigoletto, Carmen and many more.

There will also be a barbecue each evening from 6pm to 8pm, plus other refreshments and a bar.

Youth groups from Sussex who can sing, dance and act are needed for the youth spectacular afternoon planned for the Monday from 2pm.

The ticket price for each evening event is 15.

There is a discount for family tickets, or people can book all three evenings for 40.
