Tickets for the biggest commercial electronic dance music festival will go back on sale this Friday, February 26 at 10am.

It will take place at Stanmer Park, Brighton.

Spokesman Luke Ralph said: “Boundary Brighton Festival was celebrating its fifth year of the festival in 2020 but unfortunately had to be cancelled due to Covid. We had to postpone until September 25 2021.

“Whilst Boundary Brighton isn’t guaranteed to go ahead yet until we have further guidance, we are following the current guidelines which suggest we will be able to go ahead in September. We are offering a full money back guarantee if Covid does affect the event.”

Luke said it had been an extremely challenging time and balancing act to keep the festival together as artists, agents, contractors, suppliers all want deposits or commitment.

“The date of the festival is September 25 2021 which we think gives us enough time for any small hiccups with the Covid exit strategy

“Our capacity was 15,000 but in 2020 we upped it to 20,000. 2021 will hopefully be 20,000 capacity.”

Luke said the “biggest and best line-up ever booked in 2020” has now been rolled over to 2021.

“It has been such a challenging year to just survive and juggle funds in order to go ahead with the festival. The event costs several hundred thousand pounds to operate. If we don't get to go ahead this year, it could be very difficult to survive.”

He said they were hoping for a government grant.

“We are the biggest festival on the south coast and for over 60-miles radius and support and employ over 250 staff on the event.

“Tickets will be great value at only £30 when we go back on sale and we will keep them at that price for a few weeks.

“Brighton council have been a great help and very accommodating and worked with us every step of the way so far. Both local universities base their freshers weeks around Boundary Brighton as we sell them tickets really cheaply which they sell on to their students to generate revenue for their students and the student union.

“We get around 5,000 students coming from the university with a vast majority purchasing through the university and helping them.

“Tickets can be purchased from www.boundarybrighton.com

“We really hope we can help aid the general good feeling and mood amongst people and give them something to look forward to at last.”
