THE second day of Worthing Birdman 2012 is on today (Sunday, August 19).
Competitors from all three classes – Leonardo Da Vinci, Condor, Kingfishers – will fly today.
Kingfisher is for fun competitors raising money for charity.
Leonardo Da Vinci is for serious competitors who design and build their own craft.
Condor is for serious competitors who use modified hang gliders or a similar craft.
In total, 27 flyers are hoping to compete today.
Entertainment will start from 11am with performances by the TLA Steel Band and a display by Xtreme Action Jet Ski.
Flights are expected to start at 12.15pm.
