CRAFTS SHOW: At Lancing College

WOODLAND Crafts' annual spring show will be held at Lancing College on Saturday, April 4, and the following day.

The doors will be open from 10.30am to 5pm each day, and up to 70 craftsmen and women from across the country will be showing their work and demonstrating their skills.

Demonstrators include Elizabeth Bailey, making earthenware pots on her potter's wheel, and Lisa Saw, who will make jewellery before visitors' very eyes.

Other demonstrations include painting, woodcarving, coin cutting and walking stick-making.

Charles Timberlake will play piano music and younger visitors will be kept amused by Winnie the Witch and her puppet show.

Refreshments will also be on offer and parking at the college is free for the event.

Entry costs 3 for adults, 2.80 for seniors, and is free for accompanied children.
