EASTER SERVICE: Littlehampton community comes together for Easter events

Tomorrow (Good Friday), starting at the clock tower near Sainsbury's at 10.30a.m, the trial of Jesus will be re-enacted, moving to the Look & Sea Centre, with a reflection on the crucifixion through two songs and finishing at about 11.45am near the coastguard station, to think about the events at the cross on the first Good Friday.

On Easter Sunday, from 7.30-8.30am, churches invite others to meet on the Promenade by the coastguard station, to celebrate Jesus' resurrection in song, prayers and communion.

AVE Hopwell is returning to the Jabez Breakfast Bar for women on Saturday, April 10, with more amazing stories of her life and work in Honduras.

The meeting is at the Wickbourne Centre, Clun Road, Littlehampton and places, price 5, can be booked by telephone on 01903 782744.

MESSY Church, a new family event at Parkside Church, Littlehampton on the fourth Friday each month (3.30-5.45pm), aims to have fun, make things, share a Bible story and enjoy a hot meal. Mainly for families with children aged five-11, the next Messy Church is on April 23. To book, call 01903 714670.
