EXHIBITION: Spring art show in Arundel

ARTISTIC prowess will provide a treat for the eyes, as well as raise money for charity.

The Middleton Art Group will hold its spring exhibition and sale of paintings and prints on Saturday and Sunday (April 17 and 18) at St Nicholas' Hall, Mill Road, Arundel, from 10am-6pm each day.

Entry is free, but donations for St Wilfrid's Hospice, in Chichester, will be warmly welcomed.

Chairman Carole Keen said: "A wide selection of artwork displayed by this small group of local artists will feature local scenes, landscapes, animals and flowers. The group enjoys working in oil, acrylic, watercolour and pastel.

"Our spring exhibition is our first exhibition of the year. We always enjoy coming to Arundel and displaying our artwork in such a wonderful venue, and a warm welcome to visitors is guaranteed."

Last year, the Middleton artists held three exhibitions, and managed to raise 677.14 for the hospice.

The group will hold its summer exhibition at the same venue on June 19 and 20.
