THE Atheist’s Creed is the subject of an upcoming Cuthman lecture.
Dr Michael Palmer, an English philosopher and scholar, will be the speaker.
His primary field of interest is the philosophy of religion but more recent works have focused on the philosophy of atheism, culminating in his authorship of The Atheists Creed.
He has taught at Marlborough College and Bristol University and was founding head of the department of religion and philosophy at Manchester Grammar School.
The lecture will be held at Penfold Hall, in Church Street, Steyning, on Tuesday, February 1.
Entry is free of charge.
