MUSIC: Songs for Europe at choral concert

CONGRATULATIONS will be guaranteed when a Littlehampton choir gives its next concert '“ "The Greatest Eurovision Contest Ever".

Cliff Richards' Eurovision runner up will be among the numbers sung by the Edwin James Festival Choir from the period 1959-97, when the UK had a string of successes, at the concert on May 8.

These will take up the first half of the concert, and after the interval the audience will be asked to vote on their favourite.

More Eurovision hits from other countries will then be performed.

The concert is in aid of the Fire Fighters Charity. Tickets, price 7, can be reserved by telephone on 01243 582330.

The concert, at St James' Church, East Ham Road, Littlehampton, starts at 7.30pm.
