Councillors are calling for a hospital trust to make assurances after the temporary closure of a West Sussex hospital.
Patients have been relocated from Zachary Merton Community Hospital, in Rustington.
The Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust told Sussex World: “Patient safety is our absolute priority and we must ensure that every patient in our care can receive the best possible service safely.
