Armed raid at Bexhill McDonalds
Four raiders entered the Glyne Gap restaurant at closing time at about 10.50pm and threatened several staff before escaping with money.
It is believed guns were used during the robbery.
A member of staff was struck during the raid, receiving bruises to the back of the head and shoulders.

Hide AdBexhill Police have only vague descriptions of the suspects and the direction they made-off in is unknown.
A McDonalds' worker, who wishes to remain anonymous, described the ordeal.
The worker said: "We had about eight people on duty at the time and everyone is OK.
"No one was hurt because we did what they said. They just wanted the money."

Hide AdRestaurant owner John Hayes declined to comment to the Observer for the time being, as some staff members remain, "extremely traumatised."
