District news - January 4
NINFIELD FLOWER GROUP: The members meet again on Monday, January 7 for their annual meeting. The competition is for the best decorated shoe, this should prove interesting.
The meeting will be held in the Memorial Hall from 7.30pm.
NINFIELD CRIB SERVICE: The rector of St Mary's, Ninfield, Simon Earl, was delighted to see so many families at the Crib Service held on the Sunday before Christmas. The format of the service was a different one to previous years and proved extremely successful.

Hide AdNINFIELD BOWLS CLUB: The first of this year's social evenings will be held on Tuesday, January 8 at 7.15pm in the Methodist Church Hall.
There is bound to be something of interest to residents of Ninfield on the agenda so please do remember you are invited to attend. It is also possible for you to make your views known.
HOOE OPEN GROUP: On Friday, January 11 at 2.30pm the ladies will begin their discussion on plans for 2008.
This will be followed by tea and biscuits. Please do not hesitate to go to Hooe village hall in good time if joining this friendly group appeals to you.
