Eight weeks of disruption ahead of city centre road works
Buses will be unable to serve North Street for eight weeks, as Southern Water embarks on road improvements from September 18.
The water company said the work will include resurfacing the road from the Clock Tower to just before the East Street roundabout, and although it would attempt to minimise disruption, buses are set to be diverted as a result of the work.
The work coincides with Brighton and Hove City Council work to improve safety at the Lewes Road, Elm Grove and Union Road junction that is expected to last a few months.
