Lancing sea search: Major operation underway after dinghy found abandoned - in pictures

The Coastguard and RNLI are conducting a major sea search off the coast of Lancing this afternoon (August 10) after a dinghy was found abandoned.

These pictures show the emergency services at work, as well as the green dinghy in question. Shoreham’s RNLI have endorsed a request for the owner of the dinghy to inform the Coastguard or police so emergency services can stand down. The Coastguard and RNLI have been approached for more information.
