Hastings Pier to reopen next month as operators take on three-year lease
Event planners Music First Events were given a temporary tenure to operate Hastings Pier during the summer of the 2020 but were given the option to continue if successful.
On Friday (March 12), they announced they have taken on a three-year lease which will give them control of operations on the popular landmark.

From that date, the outdoor bar space will be open.
On Friday, Music First Events said: “We’re so excited to finally announce our return to Hastings Pier.
“After perhaps the longest and most depressing winter in known memory, the dream of a summer of socialising, dancing, events, live gigs, football and fun looks set to be a reality.
“Some of you may be aware that last summer Music First Events took control of Hastings Pier on a short-term contract, We are confident most of you will agree that it was a major success despite the restrictions we operated under. Well, we are proud to announce that we have now taken on a three year lease and we have plans to make those years very memorable for all of us.
