Horsham District mum sews scrubs to donate to NHS

A Horsham District mum has raised thousands of pounds to fund the manufacture of scrubs for NHS workers.

Coolham resident Bee Sperring, 50, started the fundraiser after being inspired by the For The Love of Scrubs campaign.

Bee purchased fabric and has begun sewing scrubs herself as well as distributing material to other sewers to help out, while following social distancing guidelines.

She said: “It’s just taken off.
