Members of the planning committee decided at their meeting on Thursday to give delegated approval to the scheme.

Ward member Cllr Ron Dyason said he had met with residents who live nearby and, though he supported the scheme, thought sound proofing was a major concern.
He said: "I hope we get to the stage where sound proofing is brought in and people who live in the neighbourhood will not suffer.
"People do have considerable objections and, while I appreciate the elderly need somewhere to live, it is the residents who elected me."
Cllr Brian Kentfield said: "If Cllr Dyason is concerned about sound proofing it can be a condition it is carried out before permission."
