A DROP-IN service for young people in Selsey has been honoured with the Queen’s Award, the highest accolade a voluntary group can receive in the UK.

The Snak Shak has been successfully helping young people for a decade after starting as a burger van in a supermarket car park.

In 2008, with the help of Lottery funding, it moved to a refurbished warehouse in the High Street, and
ever since it has been providing a safe, warm place for Selsey youngsters to meet with their friends.
