With the Queen’s state funeral taking place today (September 19), many essential businesses will be closing for the day – including petrol stations

Petrol stations run by several major supermarkets have announced they will be closed to allow staff to pay their respects to Queen Elizabeth II.

In a tweet published on September 13, Sainsbury’s, which operates more than 300 petrol stations across the UK, announced it will be closing all of its supermarkets today.
