Ben Chapman said: "It is very frustrating that no league cricket can be played at the moment as I am very confident we could have had a successful season. Young players are maturing rapidly and all at an age where consistent contributions are becoming more of an occurrence.
"It will be very interesting to see what offer Sussex CB put up in terms of certain cup competitions. but what ever happens I am confident that we can get a decent stint of social club games along with plans for some inter-club competitive games once restriction has been removed."
Ben added: "Nets have been in regular use since been allowed and our dedicated groundsmen, Jack Downey and Joe Holland have prepared wickets to use grass facilities.
